Python Engineer – Remote AI Model Development

About the role

We are seeking a senior Python Engineer to join a leading LLM company. The role is fully remote and focuses on developing, fine-tuning and benchmarking large language models using high-quality proprietary data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain efficient Python code for training and optimizing AI models.
• Conduct evaluations and benchmark model performance across diverse domains.
• Generate, rank and assess AI model responses to ensure alignment with predefined criteria.
• Lead supervised fine-tuning efforts and create task-specific datasets.
• Collaborate with researchers and annotators to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback and refine reward models.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries.
• Experience with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF).
• Solid understanding of evaluation strategies and benchmarking processes for AI models.
• Ability to design data-generation pipelines and optimize model performance.
