QA/QC Manager for Large‑Scale Building Projects

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead quality assurance and control activities on large‑scale building projects in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role involves overseeing compliance with contract specifications, standards, and local authority requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage project quality systems and ensure alignment with contract specifications, standards, and client requirements.
• Implement QA/QC procedures, support inspection and testing activities, and conduct audits.
• Coordinate with QatarEnergy, major consultants, and local authorities to meet regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in building construction, including residential, mixed‑use, or institutional projects.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale projects of comparable complexity.
• Previous experience in Qatar or GCC markets; valid MMUP/UPDA registration preferred.
• Fluent English communication (written and verbal) and strong leadership/ stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Quality management systems implementation.
• Inspection, testing, and audit execution.
• Lead Auditor certification (advantageous).
• Familiarity with QatarEnergy and local authority quality requirements.
