QA/QC Manager – Turnaround Core Team (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Manager to lead the quality assurance and control activities for a critical oil & gas turnaround on DAS Island. The role will be part of the Core Turnaround Team and will ensure all work meets the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate QA/QC activities throughout the turnaround execution.
• Develop, review and implement QA Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Inspect welding procedures, static equipment, and oversee NDE activities.
• Review technical documents, work packs, WPS/PQR and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Manage and mentor the QA/QC team, ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of QA/QC experience in the oil & gas industry.
• At least 10 major turnarounds performed in a QA/QC Lead or In‑Charge role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• CSWIP 3.2 certification (mandatory) and ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• API 510 and API 570/653 certifications are a plus.
• BGAS or NACE certification is an added advantage.
