Quality Control Inspector – E&I Onshore

About the role

SGS is seeking experienced Quality Control Inspectors to join our onshore Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team. You will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, equipment, and construction activities meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and execute inspection jobs on site with professionalism.
• Carry out inspections of power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, sockets, lighting systems, remote terminal units, instruments and cables.
• Issue quality records and prepare non‑conformance reports for the QC Supervisor.
• Verify compliance with the Quality Control Plan and Inspection Test Plan, including documentation and equipment checks.
• Validate special processes and workers’ qualifications.
• Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests and rating/material verification.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in oil‑and‑gas construction or EPC projects.
• Previous Saudi Aramco or ADNOC approvals preferred (not mandatory).
• Mandatory electrical certifications such as ATEX and CompEx.
• Familiarity with engineering standards and codes used in onshore/offshore fabrication and construction.
