Quantity Surveyor – Fit‑out & Joinery

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage cost control and commercial activities for interior fit‑out and joinery projects across the UAE. The role involves preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring budgets, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), quantity take‑offs and cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project costs, budgets and cash flow; prepare interim payment applications, invoices and final accounts.
• Evaluate, negotiate and certify subcontractor and supplier payments.
• Assess variation orders, claims and change orders; review contract documents for compliance.
• Conduct site measurements and verify completed work for payment certification.
• Produce monthly cost reports, forecasts and commercial progress updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, clients and procurement teams.
• Support procurement by preparing material enquiries, comparing quotations and recommending suppliers.
• Identify commercial risks and propose cost‑saving and value‑engineering solutions.
• Maintain records of contracts, variations, correspondence and project documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor on interior fit‑out projects within the UAE/GCC.
