R2R (Record to Report) Accountant – Immediate Joiners

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Record to Report (R2R) Accountant who can join immediately. The role focuses on month‑end and year‑end closing activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS/IAS and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly GL reconciliations and ensure account substantiation.
• Identify discrepancies, analyse trends, and drive timely corrective actions.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly and yearly book closures in compliance with IFRS/IAS and company policies.
• Review provisions, accruals, amortization, reclassifications, and inventory adjustments.
• Support financial reporting, consolidation, and external audits.
• Monitor intercompany accounts, identify mismatches, and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and standard closing checklists.
• Collaborate with business unit finance teams and shared service centers to maintain balance‑sheet accuracy and integrity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in R2R accounting and GL reconciliations.
• Immediate availability to join.
• Knowledge of IFRS/IAS and internal accounting policies.
