About the role
The Receiving / Store Assistant will support the Finance team by ensuring accurate receipt, verification, storage and issue of food, beverage and general store items at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming items against invoices and delivery documents.
- Check deliveries for correct quantities, quality and condition before acceptance.
- Issue store items according to hotel procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Maintain proper stock levels, rotate stock to minimise waste and safeguard inventory.
- Keep storerooms clean, organised and compliant with hygiene standards.
Required profile
- Vocational Certificate in Accounting or related field.
- Approximately 2 years of experience in purchasing, accounting or a similar function.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Good organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Basic knowledge of computerised financial reporting systems.
