About the role
A medical centre is looking for a Receptionist / Telecommunications Executive to handle incoming and outgoing calls, welcome and register patients, and coordinate appointments. The role also involves coordinating with doctors, nurses and other departments to keep operations running smoothly.
Key responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls professionally.
- Welcome and register patients and manage appointments.
- Coordinate patient bookings, confirmations and follow-ups.
- Respond to patient inquiries by phone and through other communication channels.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses and other departments.
- Maintain accurate patient records and provide excellent customer service.
Required profile
- Previous experience in reception, telecommunications or customer service, preferably in a medical centre.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good telephone etiquette and patient-handling skills.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and appointment scheduling.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
