Recreation Receptionist – Health Club Front Desk

About the role

The Recreation Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests using the health club, pool, beach and other recreation facilities at Al Ain Rotana. You will create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth front‑desk operations and supporting the fitness team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reservations, payments and tracking procedures for pool, beach and recreation areas.
• Issue and retrieve locker keys and towels, ensuring proper handling before and after use.
• Promote classes, activities and services offered within the club to guests and members.
• Post charges in the Micros POS system and follow accurate accounting procedures.
• Assist fitness instructors in enforcing safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor cleanliness and order of locker facilities and keep the reception area tidy.
• Maintain availability of towels, newspapers, magazines and promotional material.
• Drive sales through thorough knowledge of products, prices and available facilities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality with prior experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural setting.
• Positive, smiley demeanor with an outgoing and approachable character.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Micros POS system.
