Registered Nurse – Homecare

About the role

Americare Homecare Abu Dhabi is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive home‑care services to patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. The role involves direct clinical care, coordination with physicians, and support for families in a home setting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare clinical and progress notes, and coordinate services as liaison between treating physicians and family members.
• Monitor and record vital signs, report abnormal values, and administer prescribed medications.
• Manage intravenous infusions, parenteral therapies, and specialized care for tracheostomy, gastrostomy, colostomy, pacemaker, peritoneal dialysis, and ventilated patients.
• Provide nursing care for patients with hemiplegia, paraplegia, Bell’s palsy, cerebral palsy, terminal illness, and other complex conditions.
• Support newborns, pre‑ and post‑partum mothers, and physically challenged individuals requiring special home or educational facility care.
• Assist with simple exercises, ambulation, and accompany clients to social gatherings, hospitals, or other treatment facilities.
• Perform wound care to prevent pressure ulcer exacerbation and maintain detailed patient records.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current valid nursing registration in the country of training or last employment.
• 2–5 years of RN experience, preferably in home‑care or critical care settings.
• Eligibility for DOH/DHA/MOH licensing in the UAE.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for adult patients.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for pediatric patients.
• Critical care and pediatric nursing qualifications.
• Home‑care clinical skills, infection control, and medication administration.
