Registered Nurse – IP Specialist

About the role

The Registered Nurse – IP will join the specialist nursing team at Royal Khalifa City Hospital, delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care. The role involves clinical assessment, care planning, and collaboration with an interprofessional team to improve patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, develop and evaluate care plans with the team, and monitor treatment outcomes.
• Support audit, data collection, and KPI benchmarking for the specialist area.
• Assist in medical procedures, ensure safe admission, transfer, and discharge processes.
• Educate patients, families, and the public about health conditions and provide emotional support.

Required profile

• Valid license to practice as a registered nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Post‑graduate qualification (diploma, degree or master) in the specialty field.
• Experience in the specialist area and completion of relevant competencies.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is desirable.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
