Registered Nurse - Mental Health

About the role

Amana Healthcare, a long-term care and rehabilitation provider in the Middle East and GCC and part of the M42 network, is hiring a Registered Nurse in Abu Dhabi. The nurse provides safe, compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, supporting them across assessment, treatment, recovery and ongoing management, and works closely with psychiatrists, psychologists and the wider multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including risk assessments, and contribute to individualized care plans.
• Deliver therapeutic nursing interventions and monitor patients' mental, emotional and physical well-being.
• Administer and monitor medications in line with clinical guidelines and physician instructions.
• Support patients and families through education, counselling and psychoeducation to promote recovery and adherence to treatment.
• Document patient care, progress notes and incidents accurately in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centred care.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• DOH license holder or eligibility letter.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health or psychiatric care setting.
