Registered Nurse – OPD

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide and coordinate patient care in the Outpatient Department, educate patients and families about health conditions, and offer emotional support. The role involves systematic assessment, care planning, and collaboration with an inter‑professional team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic patient assessments, re‑assessments and collect pertinent health data.
• Determine nursing diagnoses, define expected outcomes and create care plans with the inter‑professional team.
• Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities and escalate as needed.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products and monitor for reactions.
• Provide wound care management and assist in invasive or non‑invasive procedures.
• Facilitate safe patient admission, transfer and discharge processes.

Required profile

• Valid license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to work across departments when necessary.
