Relationship Manager - Business Banking

About the role

The Business Banking Relationship Manager will acquire and grow high‑value SME and deposit customers for Emirates Islamic Bank, ensuring the achievement of revenue and profitability targets while complying with Sharia‑compliant policies.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new-to-bank (NTB) high‑value deposit clients and expand SME liability relationships.
• Lead a team of RMs, ROs and CSRs in the absence of the Unit Head, driving relationship growth and transactional support.
• Conduct regular portfolio reviews, update KYC information and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify risk areas within the portfolio and propose mitigation actions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor offerings and product developments to capture profitable opportunities.
• Maximise utilisation of opened accounts to meet liability targets (CASA, Fixed Deposits).
• Detect loss‑making customers and implement cross‑selling, up‑selling or exit strategies.
• Support internal audit, risk management and AML monitoring activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years (60 months) experience in SME liabilities and trade banking.
• Proven ability to manage a team and meet sales targets.
