Research Scientist – AI for Precision Medicine

About the role

We are seeking a talented Research Scientist to join our team in AI for Precision Medicine and Therapeutics. You will develop AI and network data science algorithms to mine multi‑omics and medical data, supporting the Human Phenotype Project and Emirati Genome Project.

Required profile

• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics or a related quantitative field.
• Strong background in data science, bioinformatics, network science, AI/ML/DL, genomics or computational chemistry.
• Record of publications in top‑tier conferences or journals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Programming: Python, C, C++, MATLAB.
• Deep learning frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch.
• Machine learning, statistical analysis, scientific computing.
• Algorithms, graph and network theory, complexity theory.
• Bioinformatics, genomics, network biology, network medicine.
