About the role
The CAMeL Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a Research Scientist to lead and contribute to cutting‑edge research in natural language processing, computational linguistics, and AI, with a focus on Arabic language technologies.
Key responsibilities
- Lead innovative research projects and develop an independent research program.
- Contribute to open‑source tools and resources, mentor junior researchers, and publish in top‑tier venues.
- Participate in collaborative research, grant development, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
Required profile
- PhD with at least 6 years of experience in computer science, computational linguistics, AI or related fields.
- Strong publication record in leading journals and conferences.
- Demonstrated research leadership and ability to manage independent projects.
