Retail Sales Associate

About the role

Miral Experiences manages and operates immersive attractions and experiences across Abu Dhabi, including Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld, CLYMB, TeamLab and Qasr Al Watan. It is looking for a friendly, customer-focused Retail Associate to run the retail department smoothly and efficiently, selling branded merchandise, souvenirs and photo products to guests via a computerized cash register.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, approach them proactively and recommend, describe and demonstrate products to help them buy.
• Operate the computerized cash register, including barcode scanners, calculators and credit card machines, and process cash, vouchers, stored-value cards and credit card payments.
• Keep the store well stocked, clean and safe, and maintain product displays and labels to brand standards.
• Take product inventory, assist with quarterly and yearly stock counts, and work on promotions to meet targets.
• Handle basic guest complaints on the spot and apply product knowledge regularly.
• Perform other tasks as needed to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Higher secondary or equivalent education.
• At least 1 year of operational experience in a guest or customer service setting.
• Spoken and written English; Arabic, Russian or Chinese is desirable.
• Able to work in all weather conditions and to lift items, climb ladders and handle physical work.

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Customer engagement and service attitude.
• Desirable: theme park or water park experience and cash handling experience.
