About the role
The Rooms Controller at DELANO Dubai ensures seamless coordination of room inventory, allocations and guest arrivals, supporting the luxury lifestyle standards of the brand.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily room assignments, considering guest preferences, VIP status and operational needs.
- Monitor room availability and status throughout the day, ensuring system accuracy.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Reservations to guarantee rooms are ready and released efficiently.
- Support high‑occupancy periods, room changes, upgrades and shift handovers.
Required profile
- Previous experience in Front Office, Rooms Control or Reservations within a luxury or lifestyle hotel.
- Strong understanding of room inventory, allocation and Front Office operations.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Required skills
- Experience with a hotel Property Management System (PMS); Opera experience is an advantage.
