Safety Engineer - Free Tier Abuse

About the role

ElevenLabs is seeking a Safety Engineer focused on preventing free‑tier abuse of its AI platforms. The role will work within the security team to design, implement, and monitor controls that protect the company’s services from malicious exploitation.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and analyze patterns of free‑tier abuse across ElevenLabs products.
• Develop and enforce security policies and technical safeguards to mitigate abuse.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to integrate abuse‑prevention mechanisms.
• Monitor abuse metrics, generate reports, and continuously improve detection systems.

Required profile

• Experience in security engineering or abuse mitigation for SaaS or AI platforms.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to investigate complex abuse scenarios.
• Excellent communication skills to work across cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Security monitoring and incident response.
• Knowledge of abuse detection techniques.
