Safety Officer – 12‑Month Temporary Contract

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Safety Officer on a 12‑month temporary contract to support its Safety Manager/Specialist. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural aviation environment, helping to investigate incidents, analyse safety data and promote safety awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Safety Manager/Specialist in reviewing and closing safety reports and investigating incidents and accidents involving Emirates operations.
• Collect information from operational departments for formal Group Safety investigations and ensure timely documentation.
• Liaise with operations teams to obtain responses, corrective and preventive actions related to safety incidents.
• Assist the Safety Promotions team in developing safety awareness training and communication materials.
• Participate in safety campaigns and conduct in‑depth analysis of safety data, presenting statistical summaries to highlight trends.
• Provide guidance to operational departments on hazard identification and risk assessment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the Safety Management System and undergo specialised training as required.
