About the role
The Sales Assistant supports store operations in the market hall area, delivering a positive customer experience and helping achieve sales targets.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain store standards and cleanliness to create an organized environment.
- Meet or exceed weekly sales targets and participate in market hall inventories.
- Complete duties assigned by the shopkeeper, attend store meetings and follow IKEA policies.
- Greet customers promptly, provide relevant information, and uphold the dress code.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- Minimum 1 year of retail sales experience.
- Ability to lift products and stand for at least 8 hours.
- Warm, friendly demeanor aligned with Al‑Futtaim and IKEA values.
Required skills
- Effective verbal communication.
- Physical ability to lift and arrange stock.
- Endurance for prolonged standing in a busy environment.
