Sales Associate – Retail Customer Service

About the role

The Sales Associate represents the brand by driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service in a retail environment. You will maintain store standards, support visual merchandising, and contribute to a seamless shopping experience while following operational guidelines set by the Store Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their needs, and guide them to suitable products, following the GUEST service model.
• Promote the loyalty program and convert window shoppers into buyers through proactive engagement.
• Maintain a professional appearance, stay flexible for peak periods, and keep product knowledge up‑to‑date.
• Arrange merchandise according to visual merchandising guidelines, manage stock, and record inventory movements.
• Upsell and cross‑sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system, balance the cash till, process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds.
• Adhere to loss‑prevention policies and ensure store security.
• Replenish and re‑merchandise the sales floor to keep products readily available.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in a sales or retail role is preferred.
• Professional grooming and the ability to work extended hours during busy periods.
• Up‑to‑date product knowledge to provide accurate recommendations.

Required skills
