Sales Engineer – Fire Protection Systems (Electrical & Mechanical)

About the role

We are seeking a technically strong Sales Engineer to join our Fire Protection Systems team in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on selling fire‑protection and life‑safety solutions to consultants, contractors and end‑users while ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence and NFPA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities in the fire‑protection and life‑safety sector.
• Identify and approach consultants, main contractors, MEP contractors, facility‑management companies, developers and end users.
• Conduct client and project site visits, prepare and submit technical and commercial quotations.
• Review BOQs, tender documents, specifications and drawings and coordinate with estimation, engineering and project teams.
• Prepare technical presentations and explain fire‑protection systems to clients and consultants.
• Follow up on quotations, tenders, commercial negotiations and achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors and end users, and ensure timely payments and project execution.
• Identify upcoming projects, keep an updated project database and participate in meetings, inspections and technical discussions.

Required profile

• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background.
• UAE fire‑protection sales experience, preferably with Abu Dhabi Civil Defence exposure.
• Knowledge of Abu Dhabi Civil Defence, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and NFPA standards.
• Proven ability to develop new business, meet sales targets and manage client relationships.
