Sales Engineer - Security Systems Service

About the role

Johnson Controls is hiring a Sales Engineer for its Security Systems portfolio in the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region. The role develops new business, grows existing accounts and contributes to sales targets through system upgrades, retrofits, service contracts and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs). It suits someone who combines technical knowledge with strong customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets in the Abu Dhabi and Al Ain region
• Drive sales of upgrades, retrofits, service contracts and AMCs
• Develop new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers
• Qualify opportunities, build value propositions and prepare high-quality proposals
• Take part in tendering and bidding with the pre-sales team
• Present technical security solutions to customers and stakeholders
• Work across targeted verticals and map stakeholders at Contractor, Consultant and End User level
• Manage the pipeline from qualification to close, stay close to the customer and collaborate with pre-sales colleagues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Instrumentation, or Business Management with a background in Security System Sales
• 2-3 years of experience in Security Systems sales in the UAE market
• Experience designing technical solutions, selecting equipment and advising customers
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets
• Fluent English; valid UAE driving licence
• An advantage: experience with tendering and bidding, and exposure to CCTV, access control, gate barrier systems, command and control centre solutions, video analytics or other ELV solutions
