Sales Engineer – Wear‑Resistant Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to grow business for wear‑resistant products, fabricated wear parts and engineered industrial solutions across the United Arab Emirates. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to match customer needs with the right materials and engineered solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities for wear‑resistant steel, abrasion‑resistant materials and custom‑engineered wear solutions across quarrying, cement, mining, recycling and other heavy‑industrial sectors.
• Conduct customer and site visits to understand wear‑related problems, equipment applications and replacement requirements.
• Read engineering drawings and specifications to prepare technical and commercial proposals, estimates and quotations for fabricated and machined wear parts.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and estimating teams on cutting, machining, forming, welding and fabrication of customer‑specific components.
• Present technical solutions, product demonstrations and training to plant managers, maintenance engineers and procurement teams.
• Maintain an active pipeline of enquiries, quotations and project forecasts, and follow up to close orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Approximately 4–5 years of experience in wear‑solutions, steel products, metal fabrication or aftermarket industrial sales.
• Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities in heavy‑industrial environments.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and a valid driving licence.
