Sales Manager - Business Travel

About the role

The Ritz-Carlton in Dubai is looking for a Sales Manager - Business Travel. The role is accountable for proactively seeking and handling sales opportunities, ensuring business is handed over properly and in time for service delivery, and for building long-term, value-based customer relationships that help meet sales objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Work with off-property sales channels so that sales efforts are coordinated and not duplicative.
• Build relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips and trade shows, and develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base.
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and provide accurate turnover to Event Management.
• Take part in sales calls with the sales team to acquire new business and close deals.
• Handle the operational side of booked business, such as proposals, contracts and customer correspondence.
• Identify new business to meet personal and location revenue goals, understand the market and competitors, and close the best opportunities.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, gather guest feedback and support the company's service and relationship strategy.

Required profile

• A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related major, with 3 years of sales and marketing experience; or a 4-year bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience.
• Sales and marketing experience in a related professional area.
