Sales Operations Executive / Demand Planner

About the role

Storck is looking for an experienced Sales Operations Executive / Demand Planner to join its FMCG business in Dubai, during a period of rapid growth across the Middle East and Africa. The role works closely with Marketing, Finance & Controlling, Supply Chain and Commercial teams, and with business partners across the region. It involves order process management, forecasting and demand planning, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and track order processing for the assigned markets and work with HQ teams to improve invoice accuracy and turnaround times.
• Liaise with Finance on Statements of Account (SOAs) and price management, and ensure timely shipments with accurate shipping documents.
• Facilitate S&OP meetings with business partners and conduct demand and supply analysis to identify business needs and gaps.
• Recommend order quantities based on trends, seasonality and market deviations, and coordinate on new products, seasonal items, discontinued products and brand updates.
• Work with business partners and the Commercial team to keep stock levels optimal and minimise out-of-stock and overstock situations.
• Upload and maintain system forecasts accurately and drive sales forecast accuracy in line with departmental targets.
• Collect and analyse In-Market Sales (IMS) data, develop business intelligence reports, sales reports and dashboards, and prepare ad hoc reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in demand planning, sales analysis or supply chain within an FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage ambiguity and work in an international, multicultural setting.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of SAP and APO systems.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI and Qlik.
• Advanced MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint).
