Sales Supervisor - Retail (Ted Baker, Jebel Ali)

About the role

The Sales Supervisor at Ted Baker, Jebel Ali Outlet Village coordinates and oversees shop-floor operations, acting as the link between sales staff and store management. The role supports client relationship building, achievement of sales targets and maintenance of store standards, while educating the team on sales goals and KPIs.

Key responsibilities

• Build long-term client relationships using clienteling tools and raise the team's client state of mind
• Ensure the team has thorough product knowledge and support store management with reporting, sales analysis and product training
• Oversee the shop floor during peak trading periods, act as a sales role model and support selling ceremonies
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, including register counts, bank deposits and register opening/closing
• Process POS transactions and inventory functions accurately, and follow loss prevention policies
• Resolve customer complaints, exchanges and inquiries, and liaise with management on performance concerns
• Educate the team on sales plans, personal goals and KPIs, and propose action plans to improve store efficiency
• Maintain store presentation standards and act as an ambassador of the brand

Required profile

• High school degree or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience in retail or hospitality
• Good knowledge of fashion and beauty trends
• Integrity, trustworthiness and ability to deal with ambiguity
• Proactive, with a good team spirit and initiative
