Sales & Technical Support Engineer – Ventilation Fans

About the role

The Sales & Technical Support Engineer for ventilation fans will blend deep product expertise with customer‑facing sales activities. You will act as the technical bridge between customers, sales teams, engineering, and supply chain to deliver compliant, cost‑effective fan solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to technical and commercial enquiries for axial, centrifugal and mixed‑flow ventilation fans.
• Prepare accurate quotations, sizing calculations, product specifications and lead‑time information.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers and customers to define project scope and recommend suitable fan configurations.
• Create and maintain datasheets, wiring diagrams, fan curves, performance calculations and installation guides.
• Record all activities in CRM and ERP systems, supporting forecasting and reporting.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturing for technical clarifications, lead‑time updates and special builds.
• Provide on‑site technical support during delivery, installation and commissioning, troubleshooting faults and escalating complex issues.
• Handle after‑sales tasks such as spare‑parts identification, warranty assessments and service recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of ventilation fans, smoke‑management systems and related controls.
• Proven experience preparing technical quotations and specifications for B2B customers, preferably in HVAC or industrial ventilation.
• Good understanding of electrical and mechanical installation principles for low‑voltage motors and fan assemblies.
• Ability to interpret fan curves, system pressure losses and performance data.
