Senior Accountant – 3‑4 Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team on a 3‑to‑4‑month contract. The role combines treasury management, financial reporting, and back‑office operations, requiring strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, journal entries, general ledger reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Manage cash‑flow planning, forecasting, bank reconciliations and liquidity, and support funding activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and provide analysis for management.
• Extract, analyse and visualise financial data, improving reporting processes and automation.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll coordination and ensure smooth back‑office finance operations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal controls and support audit processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification preferred (ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent).
• 8‑10 years of experience in accounting and treasury, preferably in Retail, FMCG or Hospitality.
• Strong bookkeeping and financial reporting background.
• Fluency in English.

Required skills

• Oracle (or similar ERP system) – mandatory.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis.
