Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to oversee the accounting and financial operations of a group of companies based in the UAE. The role starts on a temporary basis with strong potential to become permanent, depending on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting for multiple group entities.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and periodic reports.
• Handle VAT filings, corporate tax documentation, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations.
• Oversee company registrations, renewals, and related financial documentation.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities as required.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and overall financial transactions.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of accounting experience in the UAE, preferably across multiple companies or groups.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage several priorities.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Leadership potential and willingness to develop further.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
