Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to support Royal Joinery’s financial operations in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing accounting functions, ensuring accurate reporting, and providing reliable data for strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, fit‑out or joinery.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
