Senior Accountant – Subsidiaries

About the role

The Senior Accountant – Subsidiaries will oversee the financial operations of ADNOC's subsidiary companies. This position ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and delivers insights that support strategic decision‑making across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit timely financial statements for each subsidiary.
• Produce periodic detailed financial reports and analyses for the Financial Reporting Department.
• Oversee trial balances and general ledger entries, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting staff within the subsidiaries.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 6‑8 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in progressively responsible managerial roles.
• Experience in shipping, logistics, marine services or a related industry is preferred.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, ACA, FCA, CIMA or CPA.
