Senior Accounting Operations and Consolidation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accounting Operations and Consolidation Manager to lead the preparation and oversight of statutory financial statements, regulatory filings and internal control frameworks for our UAE operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee statutory financial statements and quarterly reports in line with IFRS and SCA regulations.
• Ensure timely submission of all SCA regulatory filings, disclosures and other financial reports.
• Lead disclosures under IAS 33 and IFRS 8 and manage the Annual Reports & Accounts (ARA) preparation.
• Oversee implementation and effectiveness of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICOFR).
• Maintain a robust internal control environment and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting.
• Liaise with external auditors, regulators and consultants on audits and compliance reviews.
• Support the CFO with financial performance analysis, trend and variance reporting.
• Monitor SCA regulatory developments and update policies or procedures accordingly.
• Ensure accuracy of financial systems, reconciliations and accounting processes.
• Contribute to corporate governance, risk management and audit committee reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Qualified accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA) or equivalent certification.
• 8–10 years of experience in financial control or reporting, including at least 3 years in a publicly listed UAE company.
• Strong knowledge of SCA regulations, IFRS, UAE tax and compliance requirements.
• Hands‑on experience with IAS 33 and IFRS 8 disclosures, ARA preparation and ICOFR frameworks.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
