Senior Audit Associate - TMT Audits (Dubai)

About the role

The firm is hiring a Senior Audit Associate specialising in Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) audits for its FY25 hiring session. The position starts on 1 October 2024, with interviews beginning in June 2024. It reports to a supervisor and sits at hierarchical level E3.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and finalising TMT audit assignments for Manager/Partner review.
• Produce work for review, raise TMT consulting issues and propose solutions.
• Manage client deliverables, including attending client meetings.
• Conduct TMT-specific strategic analysis and identify business and audit risks in the sector.
• Assess the effectiveness of client processes and controls.
• Perform higher-risk and nonroutine audit functions.
• Mentor and manage junior team members on a day-to-day basis.
• Apply the audit manual/methodology, auditing standards and industry standards correctly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or completed A levels or equivalent.
• ACCA: minimum 9 papers (F1-F9) completed; CPA: completion of 2 papers; ICAEW: completion of the Professional Stage.
• 2+ years of postgraduate experience, with recent TMT audit experience.
• Fluent English and Arabic (speaking, reading, writing and listening).
