Senior Contracts Specialist (Pre/Post)

About the role

Wasael Property Management is hiring a Senior Contracts Specialist (Pre/Post) in Abu Dhabi. The role covers the full responsibility of supporting the development of contracts management and procurement processes, supplier performance policies, business continuity and risk management policies, and the operating practices and performance standards for contracts and supplier agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the Asset Management Contracts Team, working with the wider Contract and Procurement team to set clear SLAs and KPIs for each contract and service type
• Facilitate contract variation and TPS management in coordination with Contracts Leads/Managers, the Asset Management team and Procurement
• Develop, review and execute contracts, assess contractor performance against KPIs, and act as client interface for approvals
• Monitor contract timing at each stage, escalate delays and recommend process improvements
• Assist in contract negotiations, clarify requirements and resolve disputes between client and Procurement
• Supervise contract administration, change orders, extensions and supplier onboarding, off-boarding and the approved vendor panel
• Manage supplier performance, including tender, award and scoring processes, and challenge under-performing suppliers
• Support warranty and DLP tracking, and work with senior management on supplier relationship programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Contract Management, Property Management, Facilities Management, Operations Management or Business Management
• More than 5 years' experience in relevant management roles with increasing responsibility
• Proven delivery of results in contract performance, contractor management, cost/value management and process implementation

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of MS Office, including presentations and MS Project
• Residential property contract management, contract assessment and negotiation, and contractor performance analysis
• Policies and procedures development and implementation
