Specialist Project Management (PMO Integration, Engineering)

About the role

EDGE, an advanced technology group focused on defence and emerging technologies, is hiring a Specialist for its PMO covering integration, engineering and management. This is a high-impact hybrid role that bridges strategic project governance and hands-on technical execution. The specialist works alongside Project Managers and executive leadership, using an engineering background to drive delivery, remove technical bottlenecks and uphold PMO standards, while leading matrixed engineering teams, managing complex vendor contracts and protecting budgets and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical and administrative tasks assigned by project leadership, including feasibility analyses, technical documentation, change order reviews and risk registers.
• Review engineering designs, feasibility studies and technical specifications for alignment with organizational goals and international compliance standards.
• Allocate engineering talent, equipment and capital across competing projects to remove bottlenecks.
• Work with Project Managers to define scope, technical requirements and milestones, and act as technical coordinator between project managers, engineering disciplines and external contractors.
• Monitor and report on action items using PMO tools, and hold regular meetings with suppliers to track installation status.
• Ensure project management reporting complies with corporate and state security regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Software Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in the defence industry.
• 5+ years of experience in a PMO.
• Strong knowledge of system installation in A/C.
