Senior Corporate Accountant (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join a leading global financial services firm on a fully remote basis. The position is full‑time and focuses on delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving the month‑end and year‑end close processes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Lead month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including account reconciliations and journal adjustments.
• Oversee federal, state and local tax compliance and related filings.
• Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Partner with budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning teams across the organization.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior accounting role.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and experience supporting external financial audits.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• In‑depth knowledge of US GAAP.
