About the role
The Senior Counsellor supports students in addressing personal issues, enhancing their overall campus experience and helping them make effective decisions both on and off campus.
Key responsibilities
- Schedule and conduct individual and group counselling sessions covering stress, anxiety, depression, eating disorders and other personal matters.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, providing timely support for decision‑making and coping strategies.
- Plan and run periodic workshops for group counselling.
- Liaise with faculty members to discuss student cases as needed.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date, confidential student database.
- Refer students to appropriate campus resources such as Academic Advisors or Career Coaches.
