Senior Engineer, Civil

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support civil and structural engineering activities for its strategic capital projects. The role involves providing technical expertise, guidance and troubleshooting across all divisions to ensure high standards and best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Subject Matter Expert for the civil discipline, reviewing civil, structural and architectural documents throughout project phases.
• Conduct gap analysis against ADNOC Group Engineering Standards and provide technical support via the Technical Authority framework.
• Troubleshoot plant issues related to structures, foundations and underground services, evaluating design changes, cost optimisation and value improvement proposals.
• Ensure compliance with international, ADNOC and HSE standards and sustainability guidelines.
• Review technical bids, pre‑qualify vendors and consultants, and contribute to budgets and performance management.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in the oil, gas or petrochemical industry.
• Strong technical and communication skills.
