Senior HR Officer

About the role

The Senior HR Officer will support the HR Head in delivering key HR functions and initiatives, focusing on recruitment, training, HR operations and continuous improvement of processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Oversee HR administration and leave management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives across the organisation.
• Implement and enforce HR policies, processes and systems.
• Handle day‑to‑day HR transactions, reporting, employee data maintenance and contract preparation.
• Support continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
• Analyse HR data and prepare reports on turnover, attendance and workforce trends.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to HR practices.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with employees, line managers and senior leaders.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
• 9–10 years of relevant HR experience; education sector experience is a plus.
• Strong experience in end‑to‑end recruitment with exposure to performance management and employee development.
• Proven ability to build credibility and manage expectations of senior leaders.
• Excellent organisational, multitasking and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Calm under pressure, able to meet tight deadlines.
