Senior HSE Engineer – Construction Safety

About the role

The Senior HSE Engineer will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives for high‑rise building projects across the UAE and GCC region. The role demands a proven track record in compliance with local regulations and the ability to drive a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with UAE HSE laws, construction safety regulations and client requirements.
• Implement and maintain HSE management systems, conduct risk assessments and lead incident investigations.
• Develop and deliver HSE training, toolbox talks and awareness sessions for project teams.
• Prepare detailed reports, corrective action plans and maintain documentation for audits.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and regulatory authorities to resolve safety issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience in UAE/GCC high‑rise building projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field.
• Mandatory SARS/NEBOSH IGC certification; additional IOSH, OSHA or ISO 45001/14001 Lead Auditor certifications are a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
