Senior Learning & Development Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Learning & Development Officer to lead our talent development program in Abu Dhabi. The role will shape L&D strategy, drive employee capability building, and deliver leadership programmes aligned with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Learning & Development strategy, annual training calendar, and training budget.
• Conduct Training Needs Analysis, identify skill gaps, and design technical, behavioural, leadership, and compliance training.
• Build competency frameworks, learning pathways, and leadership development programmes.
• Support succession planning, talent development, coaching, and mentoring.
• Manage onboarding, external training providers, and Learning Management System administration.
• Evaluate training effectiveness, maintain learning records, and report L&D KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• 6–8 years of L&D experience, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong background in instructional design, training facilitation, competency development, and leadership development.
• Excellent stakeholder management, project management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Preferred certifications: CIPD, SHRM, ATD, CPTD, or equivalent.
