Senior Legal Associate

About the role

NYK Law Firm is looking for an accomplished Senior Legal Associate to join its litigation and advisory team in Dubai. The role involves handling complex corporate, commercial, and dispute resolution matters while providing practical, risk‑based legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex legal matters and deliver practical, risk‑based recommendations.
• Draft and review contracts, pleadings, memoranda, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
• Develop case strategies for litigation and/or arbitration proceedings.
• Represent clients and coordinate with courts, tribunals, and governmental authorities.
• Manage case files independently and ensure timely progression of matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB); postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years post‑qualification experience in a reputable law firm (UAE/International).
• Bilingual/Trilingual proficiency in Arabic, English and any other language.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws and court procedures.
• Proven drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Strategic, solution‑oriented, commercially aware and able to manage multiple matters under tight timelines.
• Strong client‑facing and communication skills with high professional integrity.
