Senior Legal Manager

About the role

The Senior Legal Manager will provide comprehensive legal counsel across all real estate development operations, focusing on transactions, leasing, licensing and related contractual matters. This role serves as the primary legal contact for internal teams, ensuring compliance with Dubai real estate laws and supporting the organization’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of real‑estate agreements, including leases, licences, sale‑and‑purchase agreements, reservation agreements and broker agreements.
• Provide legal and commercial advice on property matters, covering Dubai regulations such as Ejari, Oqood, AML and master developer/community management requirements.
• Coordinate cross‑functional input from Finance, Compliance and Insurance to align risk mitigation in commercial contracts.
• Manage and advise on disputes related to real‑estate contracts, including terminations, cancellations, evictions, court proceedings and arbitration, while overseeing external counsel.

Required profile

• UAE experience is mandatory, with at least 8 years in a core legal function within the real‑estate sector (private practice or in‑house).
• Bachelor of Laws from an accredited law school.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai real‑estate laws, regulations and procedures (DLD, RERA, RDC, etc.).
• Excellent accuracy, diligence, time‑management and professional ethics.
• Effective verbal and written communication, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
