Senior Manager Business Operations (MENA)

About the role

TerraPay is looking for an experienced operations leader to oversee business operations across the MENA region. The role ensures continuity, governance, partner management, transaction monitoring and incident resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operations across MENA, meeting SLA and KPI targets while adhering to SOPs.
• Monitor transaction flows, detect anomalies and mitigate operational risks.
• Act as primary escalation point for critical incidents to minimise disruption.
• Drive performance of payout corridors and strengthen partner relationships.
• Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, Treasury, Product and Finance teams for seamless operations.
• Manage regional operations teams, handling capacity planning, performance management and accountability.
• Provide operational reporting and insights to senior management.
• Ensure business continuity and risk mitigation across the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in payments, fintech or cross‑border remittance operations.
• Proven track record in transaction processing, partner and incident management, and operational governance.
• Strong team‑leadership experience in dynamic, shift‑based environments.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or French is a plus.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret MIS reports and deliver actionable insights.
