Senior Manager, Marketing & Corporate Communications

About the role

The Senior Manager, Marketing & Corporate Communications leads UAB’s corporate communications function, safeguarding and enhancing the bank’s reputation while supporting strategic objectives and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a corporate communications strategy to boost brand visibility and protect reputation.
• Manage media relations, press releases, and external announcements.
• Prepare executive communications for the CEO and Chairman.
• Lead crisis communications in coordination with Compliance, Legal and Executive Management.
• Oversee the Annual Report, ESG Report and other corporate publications.
• Ensure brand consistency across all corporate communications.
• Manage PR agencies and communications suppliers.
• Coordinate corporate events and sponsorship communications.
• Provide communications advice for strategic projects.
• Monitor and report on reputation and media performance.
• Manage the corporate communications budget.
• Train, mentor and develop the corporate communications team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, PR or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Proven experience in executive communications and agency management.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
