Senior Medical Advisor Neuroscience

About the role

The Senior Medical Advisor – Neuroscience will join Bristol Myers Squibb’s Medical Affairs team in Dubai. This senior position bridges clinical research and the cross‑functional brand team, driving scientific communication and education across the neuroscience portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with scientific experts, thought leaders and external organisations through one‑to‑one and group interactions.
• Create and present medically accurate content to healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with local ethical and legal guidelines.
• Continuously monitor the medical landscape, product developments, patient‑treatment trends and competitive activity.
• Collect and deliver actionable medical insights to support strategic planning.
• Design, propose and execute scientific programs such as advisory boards, satellite symposia and roundtables.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration within matrix teams to embed the medical perspective into overall strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in medical affairs or related scientific roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong network with neuroscience key opinion leaders and external scientific bodies.
• Excellent understanding of neuroscience therapeutic areas, clinical trial data and unmet medical needs.
• Ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, compliant communications.
• Effective stakeholder management and cross‑functional teamwork skills.
