Senior Occupational Health & Safety Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Occupational Health & Safety Specialist to support AD Ports Group’s HSE Management in safeguarding our business units and waterways. The role focuses on minimizing occupational health and safety risks to ALARP levels and driving our zero‑harm target.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting HSE objectives, action plans, budgets and training programmes.
• Develop, review and maintain HSE procedures, SOPs and records across clusters.
• Conduct incident investigations, risk assessments and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of risk management, management of change, contractor management, audits and inspections.
• Deliver HSE training sessions and inductions.
• Maintain legislation registers and ensure compliance with international best practices.
• Prepare HSE content for executive committees, management reviews and steering committees.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HSE or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 45001/14001/9001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH, IOSH Managing Safely.
• Proven experience in occupational health and safety within industrial or port environments.
• Strong analytical and investigative skills.
