Senior Procurement Manager

About the role

The Senior Procurement Manager will provide strategic leadership for the Procurement and Commercial functions, shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and local regulations. This role drives value through efficient sourcing, contract management and supplier performance while supporting business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a procurement strategy aligned with business objectives and category management plans.
• Lead end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle including planning, market analysis, supplier pre‑qualification, strategic sourcing, tendering (RFI/RFP/RFQ), bid and commercial evaluation, negotiations and contract award.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, framework agreements and service level agreements, monitoring performance against KPIs and ensuring compliance with Delegation of Authority.
• Build long‑term strategic supplier partnerships, conduct performance reviews, manage scorecards and drive supplier innovation and cost optimisation.
• Ensure procurement governance, policy compliance, ethical practices and alignment with internal audit and risk management frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate commercial, supplier, market and supply‑chain risks, developing appropriate mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Significant experience leading procurement or purchasing functions in a multinational environment.
• Proven ability to design and execute procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and value creation.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract negotiation and supplier relationship management.
• Deep understanding of procurement governance, compliance requirements and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
